The Library is proud of our outstanding librarians and staff members who are building a tradition of excellence at Mary Couts Burnett Library. We would like to recognize those who will represent TCU with their committee appointments.
Walter Betts is the American Library Association (ALA) Chapter Councilor for the Texas Library Association, serves on the Texas Library Association (TLA) Council, TLA Executive Board, and ALA Council. Walter also serves as a member of ALA Conference Committee and TLA Leadership Development Committee, as chair of the TALL Texans Selection Committee, and is on the board of the Texas Library PAC.
Jeff Bond has been appointed to Chair-elect of the Special Libraries Association Physics-Astronomy-Mathematics Division. Jeff has also been reappointed to serve on the TCU Student Media Committee.
Dennis Gibbons serves on the Texas Library Association (TLA) Local Arrangements Committee that plans the TLA Annual Conference. The 2013 conference was held in Fort Worth, Texas.
Tracy Hull has been appointed to the American Library Association (ALA) Library Leadership and Management Assoication's Human Resources Section/Staff Development Comittee.
James Lutz is on the TCU Staff Assembly and serves on the American Library Association (ALA) Library Leadership and Management Association (LLAMA) Building and Equipment Section (BES) Building for College & University Libraries Committee and ALA LLAMA BES Library Interiors, Furnishings & Equipment Committee.
